Shayla was originally completing a Bachelor of Business before continuing her studies at Richmond Institute in 2018, in order to enhance her opportunities in the sporting industry. Shayla completed several hours of placement which included being an Intern at Phoenix Management Group, Aligned Leisure, and the Richmond Football Club.
These experiences allowed Shayla to gain full time employment at the Club where she plays an integral role in the delivery of fan engagement activities across AFL & AFLW game days. Moving into a dual role as Audience Growth & Engagement Officer, Shayla supports the marketing and social platforms across Richmond Institute whilst still being involved in Fan Engagement at the Richmond Football Club.
When not at work, Shayla enjoys catching a live gig, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family.
