This dual diploma combines theory, practical and hands-on learning with a focus on real world skills and knowledge. Students will learn how to enhance athlete performance, manage people and teams, and become a leader.

Certificate III in Community Services - Health and Leisure (CHC32015)
School Based Traineeship

The Certificate III in Community Services – Health and Leisure (CHC32015) is a School Based Traineeship (SBAT) delivered through Richmond Football Club’s partnership with Swinburne University of Technology. This unique program is aimed at developing the next generation of leaders within the sports industry

This course focuses on the health and leisure industry. It is designed to kick start your career as an employee in a range of community services, health and leisure management areas including client support, health/exercise programming, education, and welfare. The program combines part-time work with Aligned Leisure (a minimum of seven hours per week for the duration of the traineeship), whilst undertaking a nationally recognised qualification with Swinburne.

First Aid and Aquatic Safety Courses

Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is a registered training organisation (RTO ID: 21799) regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) approved to deliver nationally accredited vocational education and training services throughout Victoria.

Together LSV and Richmond Institute work with communities, educational institutions, government agencies, businesses, and the broader aquatic industry, to achieve our combined organisations’ visions and missions.

Mental Health First Aid Australia Courses

Richmond Institute is proudly partnering with Mental Health First Aid Australia to deliver Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to communities and workplaces across Victoria.

MHFA course participants will learn how to recognise the signs and symptoms of someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem or crisis, and learn the skills to confidently offer help and support.

Through this training, Richmond Institute and MHFA Australia will work together to empower community members to start an important conversation with someone they are concerned about.
